Berlin seemed like one big runway this week.

Designers like Hugo Boss, Sissi Wasabi, JOOP! and Zac Posen presented their collections during the second Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Exhibitions every day, Fashion Shows and After Parties every night - impossible to be at every event. But I got to be at one of the most fun events this week:

The Ed Hardy Fashion Rock Night

Christian Audigier is one of the most popular designers and his label Ed Hardy is worn by many celebrities like Heidi Klum or Madonna. So when he decided to have his fashion show in Berlin for the first time,we were very excited.

The show was located in an underground club where about 600 people couldn’t wait for it to start and no one was disappointed when the models began to strut their stuff for the Christian Audigier collection.

Metallic pants and shirts in all colors,big Hoodies and cool basecaps were shown . To see these great cloths would have been exciting enough ,but Ed Hardy wouldnt be Ed Hardy if he didnt have more in store for us than a “usual” fashion show.

Instead of “just walking” down the runway,the models felt free to “dance” down the runway and you soon felt like being at a rock concert with the crowd screaming and singing along to Kiss’ “I was made for loving you”.

The fashion show lasted about 30 minutes and to bring that “L.A. feeling” to Berlin although Christian Audigier couldnt be there,he sent someone else:

Adam Saaks

Adam is the best T-Shirt cutter in the world and he surprised everyone when he showed up as the special guest and cut some Ed Hardy shirts live on the runway. Now thats what I call an entertaining fashion show;)

The Ed Hardy Fashion Rock Night really rocked and I am sure Audigier won some new fans in Berlin….count me in.
