Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2008 in Miami

Wait…it’s May,right? Yes it is, but there are already the first news about this year’s “Sexiest night on television”

I don’t remember getting infos about it that early last year but CBS has just announced the place and date for the VSFS08.

Here’s what they say:

“”The sexiest night on television” (aka the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show) will return to CBS this fall(Nov.15th), and take place in sunny, sexy Miami at the luxurious Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Victoria’s Secret supermodels Heidi Klum , Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller (who was recently voted #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list) and Miranda Kerr, among others, will strut their stuff down the catwalk in the holiday-themed lingerie runway show. The show will also include musical performances (past performers include Justin Timberlake, Seal the Spice Girls) as well as red carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes peek at everyone’s favorite fashion show. Noticeably absent from the show will be one of our fav Victoria’s Secret angels, Alessandra Ambrosio, who is due to have a baby with boyfriend Jamie Mazur later this year.”

Well…new location, no Alessandra. Let’s hope VS sticks to their promise to make some changes this year because we all are expecting something better than last year’s “exagerrated fashion show” with waving and dancing models making weird faces on the runway. Bring back the “fashion” part of a fashion show, VS!!!!

2008 marked the third year for Victoria’s Secret’s What is Sexy? List. Being one of the leading authorities of sexy, the company picks various traits and titles that fit into their motto of sexy. Categories include actress, male and female musician, athlete, eyes, lips and smile. This year was the first year that the unveiling of the list was televised in a one hour special. Let’s give a big applause for this years Sexy List!

Discovered on the strees of Brazil, Emanuela knew she wanted to be a super model at the age of 9. She has previously posed for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger Called the new Gisele by many ( A little early maybe ) she will be joining the lineup of Angels at Victoria’s Secret in 08.

Her advice to aspiring models
“Run after your dream, but don’t run over anybody… Be patient, if it is meant to be, you’ll have your turn.”

Victoria’s Secret Angels @ Esquire

Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Izabel Goulart and Selita Ebanks, who are well known as the part of the Victoria’s Secret Angels bunch, will be apperared at Esquire’s Feb. Issue. Here is the Eric Gillin’s diary after the day with them:

8:15 Few people have arrived. An exuberant Adriana Lima introduces herself to everyone she sees, including a shocked maintenance worker, who nearly crushes a Styrofoam cup of hot coffee in his bare hand.

10:00 All four women are ready to get ready, sending the hair, makeup, and styling people into a frenzy. Previously bored pockets of men have conversations like “Holy shit!” and “I know!” […] (more pictures after the jump)
